Taman Safari Indonesia II is located in Jatirejo Village, Prigen sub-district, Pasuruan regency. This venue having an elevation between 800-1500 above sea level.



Taman Safari Indonesia II was designed with two concepts in mind, combining modern zoo tourism with an area of natural beauty.

It was opened for the public on December 29, 1997 by Governor of East Java Bpk. Basofi Sudirman. At that time it held about 900 animals from 125 different species. Now the collection has more than 2500 animals from 200 different species.



This object is a wildlife sanctuary conservation and institution that occupies an area of 340 ha. It can be reached about an hour from Surabaya or Malang. The visitors can watch wildlife as their natural habitat, based on where its life, which is divided into 4 sections: Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa section.



Moreover, there are 3 other zones, which is, the animal life, the recreation zone as a place to show the attraction of wildlife and children's play ground. There is also, the baby zoo zone and Water World which features adventure swimming with crocodiles, to encloser the kids with the animals and the visitors can take some pictures on it.



Beside the facilities that provided by the managementm Safari Park is also having 2 packages that can be offer to ther visitors, which is Education Package and Outbound Package. According to the tag line that it has, “Concervation, Education And Fun”, Safari Park II has already complete the things that needed to make the living concervation.



For the visitors who do not use private cars, the management in the Safari Park Prigen provide special vehicle that would take them around throughout the protected forests. The visitors are not allow to give anything to the animals like, vegetables or snacks, in order to keep the savety among the visitors and the animals. Furthermore, while on the restrictive area like in wild beast zone, the visitors ar not allow to open the car window, for it can make dangerous to themselves.



To complete the adventures, the visitors will experience some more fun in the camping ground area. The trained guides will accompany your trip. Fresh air, rope climbing and flying fox will boost the adrenalin and release the tense during your daily activity. Kebun Binatang Surabaya (KBS) or Surabaya Zoo is located in Setail Street no. I Surabaya. This zoo is famous in Surabaya to be one of recreational destination and proudly to be the largest zoo in Southeast Asia. The location of the zoo is quite renowned because it located in front of the “SUROBOYO” icon statue, which is the icon of Shark and Crocodile that symbolize Surabaya in particular. Moreover, the location is easy to reach and near to one of terminal in Surabaya.



There are over 351 species in this zoo, and there are over 2000 animals live in this zoo. Those are include Indonesia and the world's endangered species of Mammals, Aves, Reptiles, and Pisces.

Every cage of the animals are grouped into categories. For example, poultry or birds (aves), where there are Australian pelicans, peacocks, Bali starlings, and ostrich. The beast that live in here are, Sumatran tigers, leopards, white tigers, lions, and bears.



On the back side of the zoo, there are primate animal cages include of orangutan, chimpanzee, baboon and bekantan. After that, you can see the giraffe barn, horses, deer, camels, hippos, and elderly bison American.



There is also a collection of rare protected animals such as Comodo is can be found at Surabaya Zoo. Other animals that may have also rare is like tapir, hog deer and Anoa. The zoo is also serves as a conservation for the animals.



Beside the land animals, you can also see the fresh water and sea water fishes that located in an Aquarium area. To be able to get into this area, you must buy a ticket for Rp 3,000, - per person. In this Aquarium there is also Arapaima gigas the largest freshwater fish in the world, which come from Amazone, South America. In this area there are also animal species of reptiles such as some types of crocodiles, snakes, iguanas and turtles.



Beside the animals, Surabaya zoo also has some other supporting facilities in the area of fun play or “Feeding Time”. The visitors can ride the animals like elephant, camel or horse and some attraction show with the animals on certain time. There is also the merchandise spot and photo corner for those who want to take a picture with the animals.



At early begin, Surabaya Zoo was first established by decree of Governor General of the Netherlands on August 31, 1916 No. 40, by the name of “Soerabaiasche Planten-en Dierentuin” (Botanical Gardens and Zoo Surabaya) for the services of a journalist named HFK Kommer who have a hobby of collecting animals.



Surabaya zoo is daily open at 08.00 AM – 17.00 PM, with entry fee for about Rp. 10.000 per person. This zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Asia. Surabaya Zoo first opened to the public in April 1918. Even in the 1970s, this zoo was to be the most complete collections in Southeast Asia. With an area of 15 hectares, this place also can be used as a place to walk and exercise.



Nowadays, Surabaya Zoo is having a role to be a place for family Education and Recreation place. By the facilities and infrastructure that owned by Surabaya Zoo, it becomes a living laboratory as well refreshing place. Surabaya Zoo is being prepared to be a place that provides facilities and infrastructure for all people in the world to conduct research on the flora and fauna that owned by Surabaya Zoo. The Tofu And The Lentho

Lontong Balap



Lontong balap is one of traditional foods from East Java, precisely from Surabaya. Lontong balap is consist of lontong or sticky rice cake, bean sprout, tofu and lentho. Lentho is more or less like fried cake, which is made by cassava and cowpea, it is tasty and make particular crunchy-ness in Lontong balap. It becomes more yummy by garlic dressing sauce and hot shrimp paste.

Moreover, when eating Lontong balap, do no forget to complete it with Sate Kerang or scallop satai and coconut ice.



Why this food named by Lontong Balap, because formerly, when the people who sell Lontong Balap they used heavy-barrel-shaped and bear it to the whole city. This barrel make the seller had to walk as fast as they can, seems like someone who taking a race. Balap is taken from Javanese language, balapan, means racing. Recently, we can find Lontong balap in stall or barrow.



We can find some Lontong Balap in all over Surabaya, whether in stall or barrow. Fortunately, the most popular Lontong Balap in Surabaya is located in Kranggan street, there are some stalls over the street that offering Lontong balap as their main menu, but the most special one is belong to Lontong Balap Garuda by Pak Gendut. It becomes famous for the different taste within the ingredients, and that makes Lontong Balap Pak Gendut being famous by people from outside Surabaya. Pak Gendut in Bahasa means Mr. Chubby, this is because the seller having particular outlook chubby and being recognized in his trademark.

Gereja Katolik Kepanjen

Catholic Church Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria



Catholic church of Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria is the oldest church in Surabaya, and being famous by its name of Kepanjen Catholic church for it located in Kepanjen Street, Surabaya, aside with Frateran Catolic Senior high school.



Before the build of this Catholic Church, there was a first European-style Catholic Church in Surabaya street located in corner of Kepanjen and Kebonrojo. At first, the two priests on July 12, 1810, Hendricus Waanders and Phillipus Wedding came from the Netherlands by boat to Surabaya. Wedding priest then assigned to Batavia while Father Waanders settled in Surabaya.



Pastor Waanders often had service for Catholics church in Surabaya. And the number of people was increase, and it made the Catholics planted to build a Catholic church. And only in the year 1822, the Catholics was built a church to realize the first in a corner of Roomsche Kerkstraat / Komedie Weg (Kepanjen / Kebonrojo).



However, recently the first Catholic church was moved into new premises in the north, precisely in the Kepanjen street, South Krembangan, North Surabaya. This is because the old church was damaged.

Geger Hill Bangkalan

Geger Hill Bangkalan



Geger hill is located approximately 30 km southeast of the City Bangkalan, precisely in the village of Geger, District Geger. This hill is located at an altitude of about 150-200 meters above sea level.



According to the folk legend, Geger hill was the first place that had been visited by the first civilian who came in Madura. On 7-8 Century, it was Patih Pranggulan from Mendangkawulan kingdom in the the foothill of Semeru became the first man who landed in Planggirân ( a set of rocks) in Geger hill. At that time he came together with Princess Dewi Ratna Roroagung, the daughter of Mendangkawulan king, and she was pregnant.



Both Patih Pranggulan and Princess Dewi Ratna Roroagung which was called as Putri Koneng or Koneng princess was castaway. At geger hill, the princess Koneng was always did meditation at the edge of the cliff, everyday before the sunset. Now, the rock that seems like chair is being called  as Palènggiyân (Madura).



Relating the folk legend above, in geger hill, there are five legendary caves in the form of Madurese language, like Petapan cave (the cave for meditation), Goa Potre (princess cave ), Goa Planangan (men cave), Goa Pancong Pote (white lynch cave) and Goa Olar (Snake Cave).



Up to now, in that location there are some visitors from Madura or the outside Madura come to those sites doing some meditating or praying, the local people call this as Tirakatan.



Geger hill is such a potential destination in Madura, for it has camping ground for those who want to explore more about this hill. Moreover, there is also Acacia forest, Mahogany forest and Teak forest that covering 42 hectares of the hil. We can see the beautiful rice field and some lakes over the sightseeing and a resort on the hilltop of Pelanggiran site. Furthermore, it become more potential to be the tourism destination in Bangkalan because this site is having the historical background of the first founding of Madura.

Jampit Strawberry Field

Jampit plantation is actually Arabica Coffee Garden Tourism object, which is belongs to BUMN PT Perkebunan XXVI; it is 4,000 hectares, and 900 heights from the bottom of the sea. It is about 57km east of Bondowoso town. The guest can watch and enjoy beautiful scenery.



There we can watch the processes, such as: the picking of coffee, selecting coffee at the field and the factory, drying of coffee seeds and the process of milling coffee seeds that produces Arabica Instant Coffee that has a special taste and a nice fragrance. Legendary Jolotundo

Jolotundo is like a swimming pool area that located near to Seloliman village, Trawas district, and east slope of Mount Penanggungan. This site is believed has relation with King Airlangga.



This temple was prepared for Udayana King from Bali who embraced Gunapriyadharmapatni prince. From their marriage, it was born Airlangga it was build in 997M. According to the story, the water in this temple is the clearest water in the word, and the slope of Bekal Mountain, one of Peak of Penaggungan Mountain, Seloliman, Trawas. Its location is easy to be reached by car or motorcycle. Not only Hindus and Buddhist, the other community are also come here to take a bath and have meditation.

Cigars are made of rolled dried tobacco leaves. Nusantara Plantation Corporation 10 lies eight kilometers north of Jember. The cigars are exported to Europe, America and Australia. However, it also produces Indonesian cigars for domestic consumption. All visitors can see the process of cultivating seedlings, drying tobacco leaves, picking as well as the making of cigars. Sembilang Lighthouse

Bangkalan Lighthouse





Mercusuar Bangkalan or Bangkalan Lighthouse, is located in District Socah, 6 km from the center of Bangkalan capital. This tower has 78 meters high and was build by the Dutch and it inaugurated by Z.W. Williem III in 1879. At that time, this tower was use to guide the ships that went to Tanjung Perak harbor.



Before entering the gate to go inside the lighthouse, we have to buy retribution fee for about Rp. 5000 per person. This tower has 17 floors building and the range of lights about 20 miles. While the total land area of this lighthouse is about 1 hektar. There are 3 navigators in this tower to maintain the tower, they live around the complex of the tower.



The function of the navigation lasts until 1999. Stepping in 2000, the lighthouse finally allowing the local people to get into the building of the lighthouse. This become the attraction of the citizens and become an alternative destination when we go to Madura island, especially to Bangkalan to enjoy the sceneries from the top of the lighthouse.

Bromo Mountain

Bromo have known by all of visitor of the worlds. They come to Bromo to watch the sunrise. The visitor also can look down to the crater that full of its smoke, and feel the cold of the air, is probably could only be done in Bromo. Our eyes will also completed by the sea of sand that the way to reach Bromo’s peak. The main gate to the sea of sand and mount Bromo is through Cemorolawang. This is the most crowded visiting area, espesially on holidays. There are many kinds activities that could be carried on this area such as; Camping, watching the scenery, horse riding to sea of sand or walking.



To get to the peak Bromo with its largely open crater, which belch of smoke expelling from its bottom.

Mount Bromo has settled by Tenggerese for about thousands years. They who are good of God follower and always do their custom strickly, has historical relationship with Majapahit. The Antropologist from our country or other country are interesting to do some research, because the Tenggerese are strickly in keeping custom for centuries, without influenced by world’s change. So there so many version of the unique of Tenggerese in Probolinggo, it can be in the forth of tale, folktale, serat and kidung, legend and science report.

Ritual Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah is very closely with the atmosphere of the old Javanese tradition. The courtiers who all dress in Javanese costume and accompanied with music and dance follow the procession.

Procession of the 266th Pacitan Regency Anniversary begins with the parade of heirlooms and Songsong Agung (umbrella used as weapon) from the house of Notopuran to the Javanese Hall. It is highlighted with traditional art performances and public entertainments from 12 Sub districts. .

26 February - HAUL SYEKH MAULANA MALIK IBRAHIM
It is held to commemorate the death of the first Islamic Spreader in java,it parading the procession of drummers as far as 250m, religion lecture for three days consecutively and reciting The Holy Quran. The Event is held along Malik Ibrahim Street and Mausoleum Complex in gresik

Pasir Putih Beach is a maritime and nature tourism object because it lies between a sea and a mountain. And it said that the Situbondo Pasir Putih Beach became known because of its nice and beautiful, concave beach, with its sparkling white sand. The sea, the beach, the forest and the mountain are the main tourist attractions that you can enjoy.



Pasir Putih tourist resort lies on the north coast of East Java and along Bungatan district - 21 km to the west of the centre of Situbondo and easily accessible by any transportation because it is by the side of a main road from Surabaya to Banyuwangi. It is 174 km from Surabaya to Pasir Putih Beach and takes about 4 hours by bus and about 2 hours from Ketapang, Banyuwangi

The route

You can get to Pasir Putih from two directions. First, from Bungurasih (Surabaya bus station), you can take the bus going to Banyuwangi and the fare is 16.000 rupiahs by a regular bus and it takes about 4 hours, but the fare is 26.000 rupiahs if you take patas bus (an air conditioned two-two seat which round trip route in one province with fixed fares). The second direction is from Banyuwangi, you can take the bus station with the bus fare of 13.000 rupiahs and from the station you can take a public transportation (bemo) or regular bus and fare is about 2.500 rupiahs

Tambakrejo Beach is located about 30 km from Blitar city, in Tambakrejo village, Wonotirto district. In this location, in every first Suro month (the new year in Java calendar) is performed a "Larung Sesaji" ceremony, and visited by thousands people from various areas.



The south sea (Indonesia Ocean) waves splashing and the sunshine in the evening, make the situation feel peaceful. It is compatible for the townsman who had bored with the metropolitan life. Jolotundo Site

This temple was prepared for Udayana King from Bali who embraced Gunapriyadharmapatni prince. From their marriage, it was born Airlangga it was build in 997M. According to the story, the water in this temple is the clearest water in the word, and the slope of Bekal Mountain, one of Peak of Penaggungan Mountain, Seloliman, Trawas. Grahadi building is convention hall and the official resident of East Java Governor. See it’s a self remain as of the Dutch commissioner Dirk Van Hogendorp (1794-1798). The small vessels used to transportation, they arrived and go by the small vessels. In 1802 the front side of building which originally faced the North, had changed into the South until the present time.

The Building Construction

Rear the garden there are Joko Dolog statue is coming from Singosari Empire, which now still standing steady. Since Indonesia independence the first East Java Governor who residing in Grahadi is RT. Soerjo (1946-1948), which his statue is, now seems to be crossed the building. Since governor Samadikoen (1949-1957) hitherto this building is made as the state building to receive guest, reception, and other meetings, while the Governor self is resided in other residency in Surabaya town.

Situated in “old Surabaya”, this stately Dutch colonial style compound was built in 1858 and is now a preserved historical site.



Previously used as an orphanage managed by the Dutch, it was purchased in 1932 by Liem Seeng Tee, the founder of Sampoerna, with the intent of it being used as Sampoerna's first major cigarette production facility.



This complex consisted of a wide central auditorium, two smaller buildings in east wing and occidental and some wide barns with one floor behind central auditorium. The buildings that stay in both auditorium wings is then turned into family house, whereas big barns looks like a warehouse exploited for tobacco and clove processing, to catch, stick it and packing, printing office and finished goods processor.



Today, the compound is still functioning as a production plant for Indonesia's most prestigious cigarette, Dji Sam Soe. In commemoration of Sampoerna's 90th anniversary in 2003, the central complex has been painstakingly restored and is now open to public.



The original central auditorium is now a museum and the east side has been transformed into a unique structure containing a café, a merchandise kiosk and an arts gallery. The building on the west side remains the official family residence.

This rice is being called as Boranan, because the place to store the rice, which is made of woven bamboo by local people called boran. In the past, this Boran rice is often used as a place to store the rice before the discovery of modern furniture of storing rice. In addition, the rice will taste will be more particularly delicious if it is kept in boranan.



Another distinctive feature of this menu taken from the chili sauce, which is complete spices that has been fried, this sambal will complete the taste from Boranan rice itself. It is hot, spicy and yummy. Commonly, the vendor ladies who cook the rice boranan is still using fuel wood for the smell of rice and the sauce will more savory.



If it is dining, boranan rice is served in the form of Pincuk made of banana leaves. According to the customers, this dish tasted better.

Onde-Onde Mojokerto

Onde-onde is one of traditional cakes in Indonesia, and particularly being famous in Mojokerto since Majapahit era. We can find Onde-onde in traditional market or in some stores or even in fancy restaurants. Moreover, we can find this cake in China town in Indonesia or in every corner of the world.



Onde-onde is made from wheat flour or glutinous rice flour, which is fried or boiled and its surface is paved with sesame seeds. There are a varieties of onde-onde, the best known are onde-onde that made of glutinous rice flour and green beans inside paste inside. Another variation is only made from wheat flour and there is color-coded on the surface like a white, red, or green, it known as wheat onde-onde, the typical onde-onde from Mojokerto.



Mojokerto, is famous by its called by Kota Onde-onde or Onde-onde city. In fact, there is one particular onde-onde producer that wellknown among the society, which is Boliem. We can say that Boliem is a pioneer in the production of onde-onde in Mojokerto. Boliem is a family business that now has spread its stores in the town of Mojokerto. The characteristic from onde-onde Boliem is, it always wrapped. So each onde-onde be wrapped in wax paper that has logos Boliem on it. It makes the differentiate from other manufacturers of onde-onde. So it looks neat, and clean.

Sadon Temple

Sadon temple or Reog temple is located in Sadon hamlet, Cepoko village, Panekan sub-district, Magetan. The local inhabitants are familiar with Reog temple than Sadon temple. It precisely located on 3 km from Magetan city.



This temple was a relic of Majapahit kingdom, that was Shiva Temple, but it is not known exactly when and on what purpose this temple was made. This temple was discovered by a Dutch researcher named Hupermand on 1866, in a state that was not perfect anymore. In 1969, with the supported by head office of Magetan cultural tourism at the time, this temple began to be considered.



There are not much information about Reog Temple, although the temple has been designated as a site of Archaeological Reserve. So far, the stone on the temple was identify in the form of the head of a tiger, dragon, inscribed stones, pedestals, yoni, and small statues.



On the east side of Sadon temple, precisely in front of the village cemetery, there is a small temple named Candi Reca Sapi (cow statues.) The size of this temple is very small, which is much smaller than most temples in East Java. The temple is predicted as Hindu temple, firstly discovered in 1971 by Sudiro, the local people. When it discovered, the temple was covered by bamboo groves.



The temple consists of five statues, which is Reca Kandang (the cage), Reca feed (cattle feeders), Reca Omben (where drinking cow), Reca Capil (cowboy hat statue) and Reca Cagak (the milestone to strap the cows). The five statues are believed to be the figure of the cow and the catle equipment owned by Dadhung Awuk or Maesadanu, shepherd figure in local legend.

The route

You can get to Pasir Putih from two directions. First, from Bungurasih (Surabaya bus station), you can take the bus going to Banyuwangi and the fare is 16.000 rupiahs by a regular bus and it takes about 4 hours, but the fare is 26.000 rupiahs if you take patas bus (an air conditioned two-two seat which round trip route in one province with fixed fares). The second direction is from Banyuwangi, you can take the bus station with the bus fare of 13.000 rupiahs and from the station you can take a public transportation (bemo) or regular bus and fare is about 2.500 rupiahs..

Kebun Binatang Surabaya (KBS) or Surabaya Zoo is located in Setail Street no. I Surabaya. This zoo is famous in Surabaya to be one of recreational destination and proudly to be the largest zoo in Southeast Asia. The location of the zoo is quite renowned because it located in front of the “SUROBOYO” icon statue, which is the icon of Shark and Crocodile that symbolize Surabaya in particular. Moreover, the location is easy to reach and near to one of terminal in Surabaya.



There are over 351 species in this zoo, and there are over 2000 animals live in this zoo. Those are include Indonesia and the world's endangered species of Mammals, Aves, Reptiles, and Pisces.

Every cage of the animals are grouped into categories. For example, poultry or birds (aves), where there are Australian pelicans, peacocks, Bali starlings, and ostrich. The beast that live in here are, Sumatran tigers, leopards, white tigers, lions, and bears.



On the back side of the zoo, there are primate animal cages include of orangutan, chimpanzee, baboon and bekantan. After that, you can see the giraffe barn, horses, deer, camels, hippos, and elderly bison American.



There is also a collection of rare protected animals such as Comodo is can be found at Surabaya Zoo. Other animals that may have also rare is like tapir, hog deer and Anoa. The zoo is also serves as a conservation for the animals.



Beside the land animals, you can also see the fresh water and sea water fishes that located in an Aquarium area. To be able to get into this area, you must buy a ticket for Rp 3,000, - per person. In this Aquarium there is also Arapaima gigas the largest freshwater fish in the world, which come from Amazone, South America. In this area there are also animal species of reptiles such as some types of crocodiles, snakes, iguanas and turtles.



Beside the animals, Surabaya zoo also has some other supporting facilities in the area of fun play or “Feeding Time”. The visitors can ride the animals like elephant, camel or horse and some attraction show with the animals on certain time. There is also the merchandise spot and photo corner for those who want to take a picture with the animals.



At early begin, Surabaya Zoo was first established by decree of Governor General of the Netherlands on August 31, 1916 No. 40, by the name of “Soerabaiasche Planten-en Dierentuin” (Botanical Gardens and Zoo Surabaya) for the services of a journalist named HFK Kommer who have a hobby of collecting animals.



Surabaya zoo is daily open at 08.00 AM – 17.00 PM, with entry fee for about Rp. 10.000 per person. This zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Asia. Surabaya Zoo first opened to the public in April 1918. Even in the 1970s, this zoo was to be the most complete collections in Southeast Asia. With an area of 15 hectares, this place also can be used as a place to walk and exercise.



Nowadays, Surabaya Zoo is having a role to be a place for family Education and Recreation place. By the facilities and infrastructure that owned by Surabaya Zoo, it becomes a living laboratory as well refreshing place. Bondowoso is famous as Tape City (Kota Tape). "Tape" is a typical traditional food from Bondowoso and it is spread in almost every area in Bondowoso district. This food can be considered as a good and nutritious snack. The taste of tape is sweet and made from slightly fermented cassava. Tape Bondowoso has special sweet taste and cannot be imitated by other towns. Tape is contain of B1 vitamin for body. B1 vitamin is very important for women who have just given birth to restore the new energy and also to produce the milk. It is also good for curing the laziness, hemorrhoids, and also for curing pimples.



There are many types of tape produced in Bondowoso, for example: Tape Manis at Wringin village; Tape Manalagi at RE. Martadinata Street; Tape 31 and Tape 82 at PB Sudirman Street. It is modified into several kinds, for example, Dodol and Suwar Suwir. The main ingredient of tape is fermented cassava.

Sawentar Temple Blitar

Sawentar Temple is located at Sawentar village, Kanigoro district, to the east of Blitar. The temple shows similarities in form to Kidal temple. A tentative date of around the early to mid 13th century has consequently been assigned to it. The base of the temple lies several meters below the present ground level, a result of having been buried under a mass of lava, presumably from an eruption of nearby Mt Kelud. The site was excavated during the early years of this century. This temple seems reside on a pool. At first found, the temple had covered by mount dust.



Sawentar temple is also called as Cungkup temple. A small yoni pedestal lying within the temple's central chamber depicts a figure of Garuda, suggesting that the monument was dedicated to the god Wishnu. The key keeper is enjoy to tell about the history of Sawentar temple and around it. This temple has often visited by many Hinduism people. Some of them have stay for a minutes and having some ceremony, sit in front of the gate and pray.

Purwodadi Botanic Garden is located at Purwodadi, in the countryside of Pasuruan, East Java and is situated on the main road which connects three cities in East Java, which is Malang, Surabaya and Pasuruan. It is about 24 km from Malang, 30 km from Pasuruan and 70 km from Surabaya. It covers an area of 85 ha which is at an altitude of about 300 m above sea level.



Purwodadi Botanic Garden was established in 1939 by Dr D.F. van Slooten, as one of three branches of the Indonesian Botanic Gardens.



In this area visitor can see numbers collections of scare and dry plant. Beside, this Botanical Garden is also place for recreation and reservation area for botanical research.



The main gate of Purwodadi Botanic Garden was built using the architecture of Penataran Temple and is typically to East Java historical site. After entering the gate, we are now on the main road of the garden. The road divides the garden into two regions, namely Region I and Region II.
